Gnidus is one of my first web applications: a threaded discussion forum. Hey, doesn't every budding PHP geek do one of these? Gnidus grew out of a desire to exercise my PHP chops and replace a forum project for KULT called Nidus. I was originally jsut going to build on a fork of the original Nidus code (which I still have around here, somewhere), but bad blood and licensing ambiguities made me steer right clear of that tar pit.

The first version was complete enough to stabilize, and saw a fair amount of use in several places I needed simple community discussion fora. The second, with a more ambitious modular architecture, was abandoned. They are released under the terms of the GNU GPL.
