When I told here this at first, Alli said "All gods are gods of war - except maybe Buddha".

I responded by saying that Buddha probably wasn't a deity.

Is the violent, spiteful, jealous, competitive nature of gods, then, why we classify them as such? Is the peaceful, joyous Buddha not god because he isn't hateful enough?
